Sirloin Strawberry Salad

Serves 4

Juicy ripe strawberries pair beautifully with tender steak. Serve Sirloin Strawberry Salad with jicama ad walnuts for a festive summer celebration.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 pounds Certified Angus Beef ® top sirloin steaks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cups quartered fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup jicama, cut to matchstick size
  • 6 ounces mesclun salad mix
  • 3 ounces toasted walnuts
  • 1/4 cup chopped mint
  • 4 ounces prepared sweet and sour dressing
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Brush sirloin steaks with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Grill to desired doneness.
  2. Combine strawberries, jicama, mesclun, walnuts, mint and dressing; Divide equally between four plates.
  3. Slice steaks thinly across the grain and arrange evenly on top of each plate.
