Barbecue Beef and Jalapeño Grilled Cheese

Serves 4
Pre-cooked barbecue beef makes lunchtime deliciously easy with this Barbecue Beef and Jalapeño Grilled Cheese Sandwich recipe. A fantastic spicy twist to an American classic.
  • 1 (32-ounce) packages Certified Angus Beef ® pre-cooked barbecue beef
  • 1 jalapeño peppers, seeded and finely minced
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 ounces cheddar cheese, sliced
  • 8 slices potato bread
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  1. Warm a large fry pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Assemble sandwiches by layering jalapeño, onion, barbecue beef and cheese on four slices of bread. Top with remaining bread and brush with half the butter.
  3. Place sandwiches in hot frying pan, butter side down. Brush tops with remaining butter. Sear each side to a golden brown. Slice each sandwich in half and serve.
  4. For a great appetizer, quarter each sandwich and insert a frill toothpick.
