Certified Angus Beef, has welcomed four interns to its team for the summer, adding talent and fresh perspective across several areas of the business. During their 10- to 12-week internships, the students and recent graduates will contribute to projects that support the brand’s marketing, communications, digital content and creative production efforts while gaining hands-on experience with one of the beef industry’s leading brands.
The internship program is designed to provide meaningful professional development opportunities while supporting the organization’s mission of connecting supply chain partners and consumers with the Certified Angus Beef brand.

Celia Katner, marketing intern

Karley Williams, social media intern
Celia Katner Joins Marketing Team
Celia Katner has joined Certified Angus Beef as the marketing intern following her graduation from The College of Wooster this spring. In her role, Katner will support initiatives that help strengthen brand awareness among consumers and business partners, including retailers, distributors and restaurant operators. Her responsibilities include assisting with marketing materials, promotional event planning and account marketing projects.
Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, Katner earned a degree in communication studies with a minor in psychology. Previous internship experience sparked her interest in marketing and social media, while collaborative academic projects helped prepare her for a professional team environment. When evaluating internship opportunities, Katner said the culture and team atmosphere made a lasting impression.
“From the very beginning of the interview process, the team at Certified Angus Beef made me feel comfortable,” Katner says. “Since joining, what has continued to stand out is how welcoming and sincere everyone is.” This summer, she looks forward to broadening her marketing expertise, building relationships across the organization and contributing to upcoming brand initiatives, including support for the brands presence at the 2026 Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give.
Karley Williams Supports Digital Engagement and Social Strategy
Karley Williams joins the Certified Angus Beef communications team as social media intern. Raised on her family’s commercial cattle and poultry operation in Lamar, Arkansas, Williams grew up exhibiting Angus cattle and sheep while actively participating in FFA. She will graduate from the University of Arkansas in December with a degree in agricultural education, communications and technology, along with minors in agricultural leadership and poultry science.
Through internships, domestic and international study experiences, and involvement across the agriculture sector, Williams developed a strong interest in visual storytelling and consumer engagement.
“Growing up in agriculture, I developed a deep love and passion for the industry,” Williams says. “I want to build my career in the agriculture sector, helping connect producers and consumers, and I’ve found a path to achieving this through agriculture communications.”
As social media intern, Williams will assist with community management, audience engagement, content publishing and trend monitoring across the brand’s digital platforms. Her work will help support ongoing efforts to engage consumers and brand partners through strategic storytelling and digital content.

Anne Dameron, producer communications intern

Peyton Meyer, video production intern
Anne Dameron Joins Producer Communications Team
Anne Dameron is serving as the Certified Angus Beef producer communications intern this summer. A fourth-generation Angus breeder from Towanda, Illinois, Dameron was raised on her family’s cow-calf operation and currently serves as vice chairman of the National Junior Angus Association (NJAA) Board of Directors. She will be a senior this fall at the University of Illinois, where she studies agricultural communications and holds leadership positions in several student organizations.
“Angus has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember,” Dameron says. “Whether it be serving the NJAA or now working with Certified Angus Beef, it’s fulfilling to contribute to the industry that has done so much for me.” In her internship role, Dameron works alongside the communications and production teams, creating content that highlights the people and operations contributing to the success of the Angus industry. Her responsibilities include writing feature stories, traveling on field assignments and capturing photography that supports producer-focused communications efforts.
“It's really a full circle moment and a privilege to now be able to serve the very brand that was pivotal in making the Angus breed the powerhouse that it is today,” she says.
Payton Meyer Strengthens Creative Content Production
Payton Meyer joins Certified Angus Beef as the video production intern. A native of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Meyer will be a senior at Kent State University this fall, studying digital media production with a minor in photojournalism. He plans to pursue a career in cinematography and brings experience from student film productions and his work with Kent State’s television station.
Meyer will support the brand’s growing demand for visual content through photography, videography, editing and content management projects. His work will include both studio and field production, helping create assets that support the organization’s marketing and communications objectives. “Growing up, visuals were what immersed me in the stories on the big screen, and I now aim to capture that same ‘movie magic’ that first captivated me,” Meyer says. He is particularly excited to learn from experienced creative professionals at Certified Angus Beef while expanding his technical production skills. “There is always more to learn, especially from the exceptionally talented individuals within my department,” Meyer says.
