Ribeye with Jicama and Grilled Watermelon Slaw

Serves 4


  • 4 (16-ounce) Certified Angus Beef ® ribeye steaks
  • 12 small slices watermelon
  • 1 small jicama, julienned
  • 1 small pear, julienned
  • 1 shallot, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped


  1. Grill watermelon over medium heat (fruit should have grill marks but still be firm).
  2. Season steaks with salt and pepper; grill over medium high heat until desired doneness.
  3. In medium bowl, gently toss together jicama, pear, shallot, garlic and cilantro. Garnish salad with grilled watermelon.
