  • 1 1/2 pounds Certified Angus Beef ® ground beef
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons coarse kosher salt, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh cracked pepper
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, minced
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 6 ounces lump crab meat, drained of excess water
  • 2 teaspoons hot sauce (Louisiana style)
  • 2 teaspoons capers, minced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 small head butter lettuce, washed and leaves separated
  1. Form beef into 4 equal sized patties and season surface with 1-teaspoon salt and 1/2-teaspoon pepper; refrigerate until ready to cook.
  2. In a small mixing bowl whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon, parsley, chives and lemon juice. Place crab into second mixing bowl. Stir 2-tablespoons of mayo blend with crab and 1/2-teaspoon salt; set crab aside.
  3. Add hot sauce, capers, garlic and Worcestershire to remaining mayonnaise mixture and whisk well to combine.
