Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 pounds Certified Angus Beef ® ground beef
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons coarse kosher salt, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh cracked pepper
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, minced
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 6 ounces lump crab meat, drained of excess water
  • 2 teaspoons hot sauce (Louisiana style)
  • 2 teaspoons capers, minced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 small head butter lettuce, washed and leaves separated
Instructions:
  1. Form beef into 4 equal sized patties and season surface with 1-teaspoon salt and 1/2-teaspoon pepper; refrigerate until ready to cook.
  2. In a small mixing bowl whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon, parsley, chives and lemon juice. Place crab into second mixing bowl. Stir 2-tablespoons of mayo blend with crab and 1/2-teaspoon salt; set crab aside.
  3. Add hot sauce, capers, garlic and Worcestershire to remaining mayonnaise mixture and whisk well to combine.
  4. Toast buns if desired (recommended). Grill burgers on first side for 4 minutes, flip and grill 3 to 4 minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F.
  5. Construct burgers by spooning 2-tablespoons of remoulade sauce on each of the bottom buns, followed by burgers, crab salad, lettuce and top bun.
