Tex Mex Rub

Yield: 2 1/2 tablespoons, ideal for 1 1/2 to 2 pounds Certified Angus Beef® brand product


  • 1 tablespoon ancho chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon coarse kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano


  1. Combine all ingredients and evenly rub on your selected Certified Angus Beef® brand cut just before grilling or cooking.
  2. Cover tightly in plastic wrap or zipper-locking plastic bag. Refrigerate at least 2 hours, preferably overnight for the most flavor thoughout.
