Tex Mex Rub

Yield: 2 1/2 tablespoons, ideal for 1 1/2 to 2 pounds Certified Angus Beef® brand product

Add deep and bold flavor to your favorite cut of beef with Tex Mex Rub. This quick and easy spice blend recipe is perfect for steaks and roasts.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon ancho chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon coarse kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients and evenly rub on your selected Certified Angus Beef® brand cut just before grilling or cooking.
  2. Cover tightly in plastic wrap or zipper-locking plastic bag. Refrigerate at least 2 hours, preferably overnight for the most flavor thoughout.
