Mojo Steak Skewers

Serves 4
Marinate top sirloin strips in a simple homemade citrus sauce to make delicious Mojo Steak Skewers for a budget-friendly cookout.
  • 1 1/2 pounds Certified Angus Beef ® top sirloin steak, cut into 1/4-inch thick slices.
  • 1 1/2 cups orange juice
  • 1/3 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup cup minced fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint
  • 1 tablespoon chopped oregano
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  1. Combine juices, olive oil, herbs, garlic, ginger, salt and pepper in blender; purée until smooth. Place the top sirloin steak strips and two-thirds of mojo in a zipper-locking plastic bag. Marinate at least 30 minutes in refrigerator.
  2. Thread marinated steak strips onto skewers; discard used marinade. Grill skewers over medium-high heat about 3 minutes or until just browned. Serve immediately with reserved mojo on the side.
