Teriyaki Steak Salad

  • 1 1/2 pounds Certified Angus Beef ® top round steak
  • 1 (12-ounce) bottle teriyaki marinade
  • 12 cups Bibb and red leaf lettuce, torn into bite-sized pieces
  • 3 green onions with tops, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 pint cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup low-calorie sweet and sour salad dressing
  1. Place top round steak in a shallow, glass baking dish. Pour marinade over steak; cover and refrigerate 6 to 8 hours.
  2. Remove steak from marinade and discard marinade. Preheat grill to medium high. Grill, uncovered, 5 to 8 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Remove from grill, tent with foil and allow to rest 5 minutes.
  3. Combine lettuce, green onions, pepper, tomatoes, mozzarella and dressing in a large bowl. Divide evenly among six plates.
  4. Slice meat thinly across the grain into 2-1/2 inch slices. Arrange on top of greens.
