Roast Beef and Boursin on Baguette

Taking inspiration from simple French sandwiches, our version combines the rich flavor of Certified Angus Beef ® sliced roast beef, the savory onion sweetness from Boursin cheese and the sharpness of Dijon mustard. Crispy lettuce and crunchy baguette add texture and freshness to this uber-simple but delicious sandwich.

Ingredients:
  • 1 pound Certified Angus Beef ® deli roast beef, thinly sliced
  • 1 large French baguette
  • 1 container (5.2 ounce) shallot and chive Boursin cheese
  • 8 leaves Boston or butter lettuce
  • 1/4 cup cup Dijon
Instructions:
  1. PREP. Cut baguette into four equal portions. Slice each piece in half horizontally, leaving a small amount of crust attached to create a hinge. Wash lettuce, pat dry.
  2. BUILD. Spread 1/4 of Boursin on bottom half of each baguette; spread 1 tablespoon Dijon on each top half. Evenly portion 1/4 of roast beef on each sandwich, top with two pieces lettuce.
