Spicy, tangy, beefy goodness. High quality ground beef topped with pepper jack cheese, pickled pepperoncini and spicy chipotle mayo make for a burger singing a full scale of pepper notes without being too spicy hot.

  • 1 1/2 pounds Certified Angus Beef ® ground chuck
  • 2 tablespoons chipotle pepper in adobo sauce, minced
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon coarse kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
  • 4 slices pepper jack cheese
  • 2 cups thinly sliced (shredded) iceberg lettuce
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 cup pickled pepperoncini peppers
  1. In a small mixing bowl stir together chipotle mixture with mayonnaise; set aside.
  2. Form ground beef into 4 (6 ounce) patties. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill or pan-sear patties for 4 minutes, flip, top with cheese and cook another 3 to 4 minutes or until burgers reach an internal temperature of 160° F.
