New York Strip Steak Salad

Serves 4
Grilled New York Strip Steak served with a delicious roasted mushroom, green bean, and fennel salad. Delight your guests with this elegant dinner salad.
  • 4 (12-ounce) Certified Angus Beef ® New York strip steaks
  • 3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 shallots, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 pounds crimini mushrooms, roasted
  • 2 pounds green beans, cleaned and blanched
  • 1 bulb fennel, shaved
  • 4 tomatoes, diced
  • 4 red peppers, roasted and sliced into thin strips
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  1. Preheat grill to medium-high. Season New York strip steaks and grill over medium-high heat to desired doneness. Remove steaks and let rest 3 to 5 minutes.
  2. Combine oil, vinegar, shallots, garlic, salt and pepper in bowl and let sit for 5 minutes. Add mushrooms, beans, fennel, tomato and roasted pepper. Mix well.
  3. Slice steaks thinly, across the grain. Place steak towards front of plate and bean mixture towards the back.
