Southwestern Sirloin Steak

Serves 4
Tingle your taste buds with this Southwestern Sirloin Steak recipe. Your guests will love spice-rubbed steaks grilled and topped with jalapeño pepper butter.
Ingredients:
  • 4 (8-ounce) Certified Angus Beef ® top sirloin steaks or tri-tip steaks
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon finely diced jalapeno pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Instructions:
  1. Combine chili powder, oregano, cumin and garlic powder and rub into sirloin steaks. Cover and refrigerate 2 to 6 hours.
  2. Mix butter with cilantro, jalapeno and red pepper. Place butter on a sheet of parchment and form a log. Refrigerate.
  3. Grill steaks over medium high heat to desired doneness. Top steaks with flavored butter.
