Spring Cove Ranch has been a family legacy since the first Angus cattle arrived in 1919. It is the oldest, continuously registered Angus cowherd west of the Rocky Mountains. An Oregon Trail historical marker nods to days gone by as Art and Stacy Butler embrace the future.
“We have a passion not only for Angus cattle, but for the lifestyle living on a family ranch can provide for our children. Working together on a property that was grubbed out of sage brush by someone in our family generations ago, instills a sense of reason, purpose and longevity.”
Art and Stacy manage the cowherd. Art’s brother Dan and his family run the farming operations.
“The Butlers have been committed to the Angus breed for generations,” Stacy says. “One constant at Spring Cove is that we have always been concerned about the quality of the meat we produce.”
Stacy says raising cattle that meet the Certified Angus Beef ® brand’s quality specifications is like receiving a badge of honor. “It’s a top-quality eating experience that you can count on for being consistent every time your purchase it,” she says.
The Certified Angus Beef ® brand is raised by farmers and ranchers, like the Butler family, who are dedicated to environmental stewardship and producing the best Angus beef.
