Brent and Tina Vieselmeyer raise two sons and more than 100 head of cattle at Vision Angus in Amherst, Colo. The family has been in business for 16 years.

“We all enjoy the livestock and caring for the cattle,” says Brent, the second generation to work the farm. “Way of life is the big thing – blending my family, cattle, forages, land use, neighbors – it’s like a quilt, sewing together those elements,” Brent reflects. “The challenges, ideas – we’re trying to do the best we can with the environment God gave us.”

Part of the Vieselmeyers’ best is producing high-quality cattle. “We’re very proud to be associated with the Certified Angus Beef ^® brand,” he shares. “We want to be able to say, ‘Here’s a family-grown product that has your concerns top of mind, as well as the environment and resources used to raise it.”

Brent refers to the quilt –an example he uses to convey product quality. “Folks may not be part of this small community circle, but our beef product is an extension of those things – small town values, concern – woven together to create our product. That’s what makes it the best.”
