Hit a home run with great Certified Angus Beef ® brand flavor!
Fresh-cut grass, pine tar and the whack of bat meeting ball mean one thing: spring training is in full swing. Baseball enthusiasts know preparation leads to a winning season. The same is true for grilling gurus.
Don’t let the roar of a hungry crowd and the thought of smokey, sizzling steaks get you to step up to the plate just yet. First, it’s time for spring training – grillin’ style.
Grill Tips for a Winning Season
- Start with the best – the Certified Angus Beef ® brand. It ensures your steaks and burgers are always tasty, tender and juicy.
- Never turn meat with a fork, or any utensil that pokes or pierces the meat. You’ll lose the natural, flavorful juices from the beef.
- Cook with the grill lid down to seal in flavor.
- Avoid turning the meat too often, you’ll lose juices. Practice patience!
- Take meat off the grill five degrees before it reaches desired doneness. The internal heat of the beef will continue to cook to reach optimal temperature.
