Fairways, Fashion & Flavor

The first Fairways, Fashion and Flavor recipe contest with the Junior League of Hampton Roads wrapped up April 1. The five finalist are:

• Colorado Flank Steak by Samantha Bishop
• Petite Sirloin Tapenade Tapas by Lisa Moore
• "Cowboy Up" Round Beef Supper by Mary Anderson
• Beef & Scallion Rolls by Holly Hage

• May 2 - Visit Farm Fresh for freeCertified Angus Beef ^® samples, coupons and prizes. Radio station WBVW will be at the 1069 Independence Blvd. location in Virginia Beach from 4 to 6 p.m.
• May 3 - Certified Angus Beef ^® brand Night with the Norfolk Tides at Harbor Park. Visit us before the game by 7:15 for samples and the chance to win a new propane grill. Other Certified Angus Beef ^® brand nights: June 27, July 11 and August 2.
• May 6 - The Fairways & Runways Fashion Show at Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, part of the Michelob ULTRA Open.
